Charlie Geier brings more than two decades of leadership experience spanning the classroom, public education systems, and early childhood organizations. As CEO Designee of Acelero, Inc. and President of Shine Early Learning, he brings a deep understanding of early childhood education and the systems that support children and families. His career reflects a commitment to expanding educational opportunities and strengthening the programs and partnerships that make a meaningful difference in children’s lives.

Since joining the organization in 2019, Charlie has led Shine Early Learning through a period of significant growth, building partnerships with early childhood organizations, public systems, and community partners across the country. His leadership has helped expand the organization’s reach while advancing its work to support early childhood educators, strengthen programs, and improve outcomes for children.

Before joining Acelero, Inc., Charlie held leadership positions across state and local education systems, including Vice President of Impact Data Solutions and Statewide Advocacy at the Indiana Youth Institute and Director of Early Learning and Intervention at the Indiana Department of Education. He began his career as a classroom teacher and district administrator, bringing firsthand experience in education to his subsequent leadership roles. He has also contributed to the field through advisory service, professional development, and national presentations.Charlie holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Indiana University and a master’s degree in educational leadership and administration from Butler University. He and his wife, Jami, have four children, Kiptyn, Ezra, Sawyer, and Rozelyn. Outside of work, Charlie enjoys traveling with his family and spending time at the baseball field.
