Curtis Saxton serves as Vice President of Acelero Learning Camden Philadelphia. In his role, he is responsible for program oversight and leadership across all centers in the Camden and Philadelphia region. Prior to stepping into this role, Curt served in a number of positions, including as Deputy Director, at Acelero Learning. Curt has played a part in the program’s growth over the years and has more than doubled enrollment during his tenure. A 2023 UCLA Head Start Management Fellow, Curt was previously recognized with a Pennsylvania Equity in Early Childhood Education Award. Earlier in his career, Curt worked in business analytics in a diverse range of companies from startups to consultancies to school districts. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Affairs from Princeton University with additional certificates in Teacher Preparation and American Studies. He also holds a Master of Divinity (Urban Studies concentration) from Westminster Theological Seminary. Curt is a two decades-long resident of the Fairhill-Hartranft neighborhood of North Philadelphia, where he and his wife Christina live with their five children. Curt contributes to the community both by supporting Acelero’s transformative PreK programming, and by serving as a pastor of a local church.
